Aviation Offers a bachelor of science degree with four concentrations to choose from: Professional Pilot, Aviation Management, Non-Flying Aviation Management and Air Traffic Control; including certificate and noncredit flight training. Back to Top

Economic Development Institute (OU/EDI)

Engineering/Geosciences Programs Provides engineers with conferences, seminars, workshops and courses. These include the annually held Corrosion Control Course, Blowout Prevention School, Laurance Reid Gas Conditioning Conference, Gas Compressor Short Course and the International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement. Federal Aviation Administration Programs Air traffic controller training offered at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City. International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame Highlights and honors past and present leaders in adult and continuing education and serves as a record and inspiration for the next generation of continuing education leaders. Training and Research Center A full-support service center which provides goods and services to primarily internal university departments. Customers include the Center for Public Management, the National Resource Center for Youth Services and the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect. Travel/Study Program

Provides opportunities for students to study a variety of topics - from studying languages in native countries, to seeing first-hand the people and places talked about in courses. Travel allows students to gain new perspectives about the world, to immerse themselves in a particular subject of interest and to experience subjects in a way that cannot be attained in a traditional classroom environment. USPS Advanced Leadership Program A leadership development program for U.S. Postal Service managers in cooperation with the Kenan-Flagler School of Business, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Back to Top
USPS National Center for Employee Development Under a contract with the U.S. Postal Service, provides instructors and support staff for the Norman-based U.S. Postal Service National Center for Employee Development, the sole technical training facility for the USPS. The center trains approximately 60,000 postal technicians a year from all over the U.S. teaching hands-on maintenance courses on computer-driven mail processing equipment, electronics, building support systems and postal vehicles.
