Jerry Jerman, director of development, identifies public and private partners with whom University Outreach might work collaboratively and from whom financial and other support might be sought. He also serves as an adjunct instructor of humanities for OU's College of Liberal Studies.

For eleven years, Jerry headed the Outreach marketing office. During his tenure, he and his staff received more than 70 national and regional awards for their marketing and promotion efforts. Before joining OU, he worked as a technical writer for an insurance company, a writer/editor for a publishing company and a faculty member at Oklahoma City University.

Jerry has co-authored articles on various continuing education subjects and co-edited books on residential continuing education and adult degree programs. He has written six published children's books.
